A day of brightness
Young people have always been welcomed as volunteers at the Peter Le Marchant Trust. In 2020, we were delighted to receive funding from the National Lottery Community Fund to build on our work with young people by developing a hub for them here at the base called the Young People’s Project.
Since then, almost 1,000 young people have taken part in a range of water-based educational, environmental and heritage projects, gaining valuable new experiences, learning new skills, and having fun at the same time.
